In November, L&T announced it is opening a development center in Jerusalem, that will house the 100 engineers it already has in the city as well as 300 new hires. The company then also announced plans to expand its Tel Aviv sales office.
Dual-listed in India’s National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange, L&T was founded in 2009 and provides engineering and construction services. L&T has nearly 12,000 employees spread across offices and innovation labs in over 30 countries. The company has customers in 133 countries, 64% of them in the U.S., according to company statements.

Last April, L&T announced that it will develop a smart office campus in Israel for an undisclosed leading technology company as part of its partnership with Microsoft.
Elad Fuchs from Tel Aviv based real estate firm Index Real Estate managed the deal. Index Real Estate represents New York-based real estate Savills Studley Inc. in Israel.
