Gambling Software Developer GAN Opens Tel Aviv Marketing Agency

London-listed gaming and gambling software developer GameAccount Network PLC, also known as GAN PLC, is opening an in-house marketing agency in Tel Aviv, the company announced Friday. Called Gan Digital, the new agency will be run by Meir Deutsch, a former executive at gambling company William Hill PLC.
Founded in 2002 and headquartered in London with additional offices in Nevada and Sofia, Bulgaria, GAN develops both made to order and off-the-shelf gaming systems for online and real-world casinos in the U.S. GAN is dually listed in London and the Irish Stock exchange and has over 100 employees according to LinkedIn data.

The agency will cater for selected GAN clients, providing digital user acquisition and retention services, the company said in a statement.

Israel is home to a large number of online gambling operators and technology providers. London-listed Playtech PLC and 888 Holdings PLC were both founded in Israel, and both have extensive development operations in the country. William Hill, GVC Holdings PLC and NeoGames S.A.R.L. have marketing operations in Israel.

Prior to William Hill, Mr. Deutsch held senior positions at Israeli grown messaging service ICQ and Israel-based modular mobile phones developer Modu Inc., a high-profile company that shut down after burning through over $100 million in funding.
