IT Automation Company Indeni Raises $14 Million
Indeni operates a crowd-sourced automation platform offering automation scripts for IT functions

IT automation company Indeni Ltd. completed a $14 million funding round led by RTP and participated by State of Mind Ventures, Caremi Partners, and existing investor Sequoia Capital. Indeni Founder and CEO Yoni Leitersdorf announced the funding in a post to the company’s site Wednesday.
“The future is in automation,” Mr. Leitersdorf wrote in his post. “In IT, the adoption of cloud technologies, public and private, is driving an increased adoption of automation.”

Based in Tel Aviv and San Francisco, Indeni develops network automation software, operating a crowd-sourced automation platform offering automation scripts for IT functions such as maintenance, network visibility, security, and compliance.

Founded in 2009 by Mr. Leitersdorf, a former project manager at Israeli firewall pioneer Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. Indeni raised $10 million in November 2016 from investors including Sequoia Capital, iAngels, CIRtech, State Of Mind Ventures.

The company will use the funding to grow its engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams, Mr. Leitersdorf wrote.
