ZipRecruiter Expands Israeli Research and Development Center
The Israeli center of the California-based recruitment platform is its only one outside the U.S.

Santa Monica, California-headquartered ZipRecruiter Inc. is expanding its Tel Aviv artificial intelligence technologies center with an office relocation and an engineers recruitment plan, the company announced Monday.

Founded in 2010, job listing aggregation platform ZipRecruiter uses AI algorithms to identify and match candidates with employers. The company has over 7 million active job seekers monthly, and partnerships with technology companies including Google and Facebook.

50 out of the company’s around 1,000 employees work from its Israeli center, which was set up in 2015. With the intention of recruiting 50 more engineers in Israel in the domains of machine learning, data science, and software development, the company is now relocating its local offices to the 18th floor in a central Tel Aviv high rise.

35 of the company’s Israeli employees were recruited over the last year, said in a statement Avi Golan, the general manager of ZipRecruiter Israel.
