University of Haifa to Expand by 100,000 Square Meters by 2030

The expansion will enable the northern Israeli university to increase its student capacity by 50%

The University of Haifa, one of two public universities located in the Israeli northern port city, is planning to expand its built space by 100,000 square meters by 2030. The institution intends to upgrade existing buildings and infrastructure, and also construct new buildings and student dorms. The development will enable the university to increase its student body from 18,000 to 28,000.
