According to data published by Israel’s Ministry of Transportation, up to 100,000 incoming and outgoing passengers are estimated to pass through the airport during the busiest days of July and August

5.3 million passengers will travel through Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport in July and August, representing a 15% increase compared to the same period last year, according to estimations published by Israel’s Ministry of Transportation Sunday. The busiest days are expected to be Sundays and Thursdays, during which the airport will accommodate 90,000-100,000 incoming and outgoing passengers, on over 600 flights a day, the Israel Airports Authority said in a statement. According to data collected on already booked flights, Turkey is the leading destination for Israeli travelers, mostly for connection flights, followed by Greece, Italy, the U.S. and France, the authority said in a statement.
