Gaming Monetization Startup Game of Whales Acquires Hong Kong-Based Appstatics

Tel Aviv-based gaming monetization startup Game of Whales Ltd. has acquired Hong Kong-based app performance monitoring company Appstatics, the companies announced last week. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded in 2015, Game of Whales develops an artificial intelligence-based system that allows mobile game developers to optimize monetization and increase a customer's lifetime value based on their activities and progress within the game. Incorporated as Asia App Ltd., Appstatics develops tools for automatically monitoring a mobile app’s performance using Apple Store rankings.
