Oracle Acquires Tel Aviv-Based User Training Startup Iridize

Enterprise software company Oracle Corp. has signed an agreement to acquire Tel Aviv-based user training startup Iridize Ltd., the companies announced Thursday. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2011, Iridize develops software that allows companies to create personalized user guides for cloud and web applications.

Last week, California-headquartered Oracle reported $9.2 billion in revenues for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2018 which ended on August 31, up 1% compared with the same period last year.
Correction, Wednesday, Sept. 26: based on data from Start-Up Nation Central, a Tel Aviv-based non-profit organization managing a database of Israeli tech companies, a previous version of this article stated that Iridize has raised $25 million. In a message to Calcalist Wednesday, the company said it has not raised any funds to date.
