Autonomous vehicle technology developer VayaVision Sensing Ltd. announced on Tuesday the completion of an $8 million Seed funding round. The round was led by Israeli early-stage venture fund Viola Ventures, San Francisco and Tel Aviv-based Mizmaa Ventures, and Jerusalem-based equity crowdfunding company OurCrowd Ltd. Mitsubishi UFJ Capital Co., Ltd., and LG Electronics also participated.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in central Israel, Vayavision develops a data processing system compatible with a variety of autonomous sensor systems, cameras, radars, and LiDAR. Vayavision’s system is designed to provide precise 3D imaging of a vehicle’s environment.
