Taboola has thousands of partnerships with publishers and marketers such as NDTV, India Today, China Daily, Kapook, and OhBulan, it stated, in languages including Thai, Hindi, Tamil, Chinese, Indonesian, and English.

Founded in Tel Aviv in 2007, New York-headquartered Taboola makes over 450 billion content recommendations a month to over one billion unique users. Partners include publishers such as USA TODAY, Huffington Post, MSN, Business Insider, and The Independent. The company pushes its content through links presented on publishers' websites, often under headers such as “You May Like” or “Recommended from the web.” The company raised $160 million in equity funding to date from investors including Baidu and Yahoo! Japan.

In April, Taboola announced a partnership with Chinese mobile device manufacturer ZTE Corporation, under which ZTE will offer a Taboola-powered personalized content news aggregator on its devices.
