Textile Technology Startup Twine Solutions Raises $22 Million

Twine Solutions offers a digital on-demand thread dyeing system that can continuously dye a single raw white thread to one of millions of shade choices

Digital textile dyeing startup Twine Solutions Ltd., has completed a $22 million investment round, according to a person familiar with the deal who spoke to Calcalist on condition of anonymity. Twine announced the round Tuesday but did not disclose the amount. Twine Solutions offers a digital on-demand thread dyeing system that can continuously dye a single raw white thread to one of millions of shade choices. Founded in 2015, the company employs over 40 people in central Israel. The round was led by New Era Capital Partners and Maverick Ventures Israel. COATS Group, HP tech Ventures, and existing shareholders Landa Ventures and Gefen Capital also participated.
