Customer support startup TechSee Augmented Vision Ltd. announced Tuesday the completion of a $16 million series B round led by Scale Venture Partners. Existing investors including Planven Investments, OurCrowd, Comdata Group, and Salesforce Ventures also participated. Andy Vitus, a partner at Scale Venture Partners, will join TechSee's board of directors.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Tel Aviv with offices in Boston and Madrid, TechSee offers a video tech support service that utilizes augmented reality, the customer’s own mobile camera, a chatbot, and live agents. Customers include Nasdaq-listed billing company Amdocs Ltd., Samsung, and Israeli telecom companies Bezeq and Orange.
