Qualcomm Ventures and Sierra Ventures have led a $10 million series A round for Israel-based wireless communication technology company CoreTigo Ltd., the company announced Monday. In an email to Calcalist, a company representative stated CoreTigo previously raised $2 million, bring the company’s total funding to date to $12 million.

Founded in 2017, CoreTigo develops a secured wireless network system intended to support IoT nodes according to the IO-Link standard. The company employs 16 people in Israel.
CoreTigo stated it will use the funding for research and development and to expand its operations.
