Cybersecurity Startup Exabeam Appoints Regional Sales Director in Japan

San Mateo, California-based cybersecurity company Exabeam, Inc. has appointed Kei Mitsuyama to regional sales director, Japan, the company announced Wednesday. The announcement follows Tokyo-listed NTT Data Corporation’s deployment of Exabeam’s service to secure its operations, leading to “growing momentum” in the region, according to the company’s statement.

Mitsuyama has previously held senior sales positions at Cybereason Japan Corp., FireEye, Inc., and Oracle Corp Japan.

Founded in 2013, Exabeam provides security intelligence and information protection services to organizations and businesses. The company reported 250% market growth in 2017 and 300% market growth in 2016. Exabeam has raised $118 million to date and employs 110 people, according to Pitchbook data.
The company was co-founded by Israel-born Nir Pollak.
