New York-headquartered investment banking firm RM Global Partners LLC announced it raised an additional $34 million in funding for its Israel-based RMGP Biopharma Investment Fund Monday. The fund has raised a total of $64 million in aggregate fund commitments to date.
The fund's portfolio is made up of 11 startups operating at the company’s FutuRx biotech accelerator in the central Israeli town of Ness Ziona. the FutuRx Biopharma incubator was founded in cooperation with Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Takeda Ventures Inc., venture capital firm OrbiMed Advisors LLC and the Israel Innovation Authority.
