Israel-based drone startups Highlander Aviation Ltd. and Airscort Ltd. have partnered to offer low-cost drone security and surveillance systems, the companies announced Thursday. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded in 2014 and based in Jerusalem, Airscort develops generic docking and charging systems for drones, while High Lander, which was founded in 2017 and is based in central Israeli town Kfar Saba, develops software that manages and coordinates the activity of autonomous drone fleets to maximize efficiency and time in the air.
