NYSE-Listed Cloud File Management Company Box Partners With Cyber Startup Votiro

Box will add Votiro’s cloud threat detector, designed to prevent files containing malicious software from spreading within an organization, to its service

New York-listed cloud file management company Box Inc. has partnered with Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity startup Votiro Cybersec Global Ltd., the companies announced Tuesday. As part of the partnership, Box will add Votiro’s cloud threat detector to its service. The Votiro File Disarmer is designed to prevent files containing malicious software from spreading within an organization using file-sharing services. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

 

Founded in 2010, Votiro develops security software for enterprises that automatically scans and cleans files sent or shared via email, content collaboration platforms, and USB drives.
