Cybersecurity Startup Orca Security Raises $6.5 Million

Orca Security was founded by two veterans of Nasdaq-listed cybersecurity company Check Point

Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity startup Orca Security Ltd. has emerged from stealth and announced the completion of a $6.5 million seed funding round on Wednesday. The round was led by Tel Aviv-based venture capital firm YL Ventures GP Ltd. Founded earlier this year by Avi Shua and Gil Geron, both former executives at Nasdaq-listed network and cloud security provider Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., Orca Security employs 15 people in Tel Aviv.
