Microsoft, DFJ Growth Back Tel Aviv-Based Computer Vision Startup AnyVision
AnyVision develops software capable of real-time face and object recognition within large crowds

Microsoft’s venture fund M12, Silicon Valley-based DFJ Growth, and Eyal Ofer's O.G. Tech Partners, have joined a series A funding round for Tel Aviv-based computer vision startup AnyVision Interactive Technologies Ltd., the latter announced Tuesday.

The round, led by multinational electronics company Robert Bosch GmbH, was first announced in July 2018, after the company had raised $28 million. In January 2019, Anyvision announced Qualcomm Ventures Inc., the investment arm of Qualcomm Technologies Inc., and California-based venture capital firm Lightspeed Management Company LLC have added to the round, bringing it to $43 million. The latest investment brings the round to $73 million.
Founded in 2015, AnyVision develops software capable of real-time face and object recognition within large crowds. The country employs over 200 people in Tel Aviv,New York, Mexico, London, Singapore, and Belfast.
