Shared E-Scooter Service to Be Offered in Eilat and the Dead Sea

Following in the footsteps of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, Israeli southern resort town Eilat, located on the shore of the Red Sea, and the hotel area surrounding the Ein Bokek shore of The Dead Sea are getting their own shared electric-scooter service.

The new service will become available by September under the brand TAKE, operated by Ksharim Plus Ltd., the local distributor of German electric bikes and e-scooter company Koning, Ksharim Plus announced Sunday.
Ksharim Plus will offer 100 vehicles in Eilat and 30 in Ein Bokek, restricting them to limited areas in order to minimize interruption to pedestrians, according to the statement.

Ksharim Plus will provide franchises to local entrepreneurs in each location, offering fleet management tools.
