Travel Booking Startup TravelPerk Raises $60 Million
TravelPerk develops a free-to-use business travel platform that allows users to book hotel rooms and travel tickets, and manage itineraries, invoices, and loyalty programs

Barcelona-based business travel booking startup TravelPerk SL, announced last week it has raised an additional $60 million to add to its series C funding round. Partners of DST Global, as well as venture capital firms Kinnevik AB, Target Global, Felix Capital, Heartcore, and LocalGlobe all participated in the round, and the company did not disclose who led the round. The added funding brings the round to a total of $104 million.
TravelPerk develops a free-to-use business travel platform that allows users to book hotel rooms and travel tickets, and manage itineraries, invoices, and loyalty programs. TravelPerk’s platform works with other travel booking services including Booking.com, Expedia, Skyscanner, and Airbnb.
The company intends to use the funding to expand its team, as well as expanding its product line, according to the company’s statement.

TravelPerk was founded in 2015 by chief product officer Javier Suarez and by CEO Avi Meir, who is a veteran of a technological unit in the Israeli Intelligence Corps, and a co-founder of Hotel Ninjas, sold to Booking.com in 2014. TravelPerk has raised $134 million to date, according to company statements.
