French soccer team Olympique de Marseille has partnered with Israel-based public transit app developer Moovit App Global Ltd., the latter announced Monday. As part of the collaboration, Moovit will provide the team’s fans with information about the stadium's arrival options via public transportation or bicycle, as well as by foot, offering directions to specific gates at the team's home stadium and to the club's official store.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Founded in 2012 and based in Ness Ziona, a town in central Israel, Moovit develops a free mobile navigation app that offers real-time public transit information in 2,900 cities and 92 countries, according to the company’s website. Its app has over 500 million users and its database covers more than 7,000 public transportation operators worldwide.
