Herzliya, Israel-based disaster recovery readiness startup EnsureDR Ltd. has raised a $2.5 million series A round, the company announced Friday. The round was led by Canada-based homeland security fund AWZ Ventures Inc.

Founded in 2015, EnsureDR develops technology for identifying and fixing disaster recovery plans (DRP) using an automatic process that operates and tests secondary data sites on a weekly basis, enabling organizations to evaluate, audit, and assess their DRPs. The company operates in the financial services, technology, manufacturing, healthcare, and government sectors.
