Tel Aviv-based workflow app automation startup Tonkean Inc. has raised a $7.2 million seed round, the company announced last week. The round was led by Foundation Capital with participation from Magma Venture Partners and Slow Ventures.

Founded in 2015, Tonkean develops an artificial intelligence-based service that helps automate for workflows for large companies and organizations, CEO and co-founder Sagi Eliyahu told Calcalist in a recent interview. The company employs 17 people in Tel Aviv and San Francisco.
