Veeva Completes $430 Million Acquisition of Marketing Analytics Startup Crossix

New York-listed life sciences software company Veeva Systems Inc. has completed its $430 million acquisition of Israeli healthcare marketing startup Crossix Solutions Inc., the former announced Monday. In addition, Crossix employees will receive equity retention grants valued at $120 million, the company said.

 

Crossix’ team will be integrated into Veeva, according to the company’s statement.

Co-founded in 2005 by Israeli entrepreneur Asaf Evenhaim and based in New York and the central Israeli town Kiryat Ono, Crossix develops a marketing analytics service for the healthcare industry and reports more than 200 pharmaceutical companies as clients, including Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Teva, and Gilead.

 

Crossix' research and development office is located in Israel, and currently employs a team of 25 but intends to double its local team, Evenhaim said in a Monday interview with Calcalist.
