Elon Musk’s electric and autonomous car company Tesla Inc. is looking to set up activity in Israel. In a wanted ad recently posted to its website, the company announced it was looking for a country manager in Israel to work out of Tel Aviv that will be responsible for the company’s local activity including sales, deliveries, and service.
Among the prospective country manager’s responsibilities are the hiring of additional local managers and teams, managing the company’s local real estate strategy, planning a charging infrastructure for Tesla vehicles in the country, and forming a local community of Tesla vehicle owners.
As of Sunday morning, Tesla appears to have closed down the application. Clicking on the application button on Tesla’s website generated an “error: page not found” notice.
