CTalk: Tel Aviv University’s AI Lab is Particularly Interested in Transportation

The Tel Aviv University Machine Learning, Business and Data Analytics (LAMBDA) lab is particularly interested in smart cities and transportation, Irad Ben-Gal, head of the LAMBDA lab said Monday, speaking to Calcalist during the Mind the Tech conference in Tel Aviv. The lab uses large datasets to try and understand why and how people move in different areas in different times, Ben-Gal said.

Ben-Gal is also the head of the industrial engineering and management program at Tel Aviv University.
