Streaming services will soon need to resort to advertisements for revenues, the head of SynaMedia’s operations in Israel Yael Fainaro said Monday, speaking to Calcalist during the Mind the Tech conference in Tel Aviv. In the U.S. alone there are more than 230 legal streaming services, none of which are profitable, she said.
SynaMedia, develops video and security solutions for the pay-TV industry.
