Roman Abramovich-Linked AltaIR Backs Legal-Tech Startup Ettorney

Ettorney provides online legal services to companies, private clients, and law firms

Israel-based investment firm AltaIR Capital, in which Russian-Israeli billionaire Roman Abramovich is a key investor, led a $1 million investment in Tel Aviv-based legal-tech startup Ettorney Technologies Ltd., the latter announced Monday.

 

Founded in 2015, Ettorney provides online legal services to companies, private clients, and law firms. Among the currently available services are incorporation, registering trademarks, and drafting user agreements, real estate contracts, and wills.

Ettorney has partnerships with some of Israel’s leading law firms including Shibolet & Co., Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co., and Yigal Arnon & Co.

 

Abramovich’s personal fortune is valued at over $10 billion, making him the wealthiest man in Israel. Abramovich has backed several Israeli companies, through investment firms he controls, including audience engagement company Spot.IM Ltd., quick-charging battery startup StoreDot Ltd., video monetization company Anyclip Ltd., venture capital firm iAngels Crowd Ltd., children’s mobile entertainment startup Kidoz Ltd., and Israeli-linked rideshare firm Via Transportation Inc.
