WeWork’s Senior Vice President of Product Ron Gura Resigns
Gura headed WeWork’s technology center in Tel Aviv since joining the company in 2016

WeWork’s senior vice president of product Ron Gura has resigned, he announced in a blog post he shared to Facebook Thursday. In his post, Gura said he was planning on spend time with family and catch up on Netflix list.

Gura headed WeWork’s technology center in Tel Aviv since 2016. In 2011, eBay acquired the group gifting company Gura co-founded, The Gift Project, for an undisclosed amount, making him general manager of eBay’s Israeli innovation center.
Following reports of massive WeWork layoffs worldwide, 67 of the company’s employees in Israel, most of them on WeWork’s development team, were called in for pre-layoff hearings last month. WeWork is attempting to recuperate from the downward spiral it has been on since its failed attempt to go public in September.
