Porsche to Collaborate With Infrared Imaging Startup TriEye

TriEye develops shortwave imaging technology aimed to help vehicles function better under diverse weather and light conditions

Infrared imaging startup TriEye Ltd. announced last week a collaboration with Porsche Engineering, the engineering arm of the sportscar subsidiary of German carmaker Volkswagen. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

 

The collaboration will focus on improving the function of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicles by enhancing visibility capabilities under all weather conditions.

Last year, Porsche's venture arm invested $2 million in TriEye.

 

Founded in 2017 and based in Tel Aviv, TriEye develops shortwave imaging technology aimed to help vehicles function better under diverse weather and light conditions.
