Israel-based serverless applications monitoring startup Epsagon Ltd. has raised a $16 million series A funding round, the company announced Thursday. The round was led by California-based U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), with participation from existing investors Lightspeed Management Company LLC and Israel-based StageOne Ventures.

The company intends to use the funding to expand its marketing and sales team.

Founded in 2017, Epsagon develops automated end-to-end monitoring technologies for serverless cloud-based systems. The company currently employs a team of 30 people in Tel Aviv, San Francisco, and New York.
