Chipmaker Intel has appointed Ilan Avital as vice president of its data center platforms group and as director of ethernet silicon engineering

Intel has appointed Ilan Avital as vice president of its data center platforms group and as director of ethernet silicon engineering, the company announced Tuesday. Avital has been with the company since 1995 when he started as a design engineer. During his career, Avital has held several managerial positions at Intel’s ethernet networks division.
