Chipmaker Intel has appointed Ofri Wechsler as a senior fellow at its data center group

Intel has appointed Ofri Wechsler as a senior fellow at its data center group, the company announced Tuesday. In his new position, Wechsler will lead the development of the architecture for Intel’s SpringHill AI chip. He joined Intel in 1989 and has held several management and leadership positions at the company since.
