Israeli President Reuven Rivlin sent a greeting to participants of the first Israel-Dubai conference of Calcalist, Bank Leumi, and Reshet 13, praising the event and the courage of UAE leaders.
“It is a great honor and pleasure to address this Israeli economic forum in the United Arab Emirates,” he said in the address. “This is not something I was sure I would see in my lifetime. I am deeply impressed by the vision and courage of the leaders of the UAE and the spirit of tolerance and respect that has spread in the region. Our two peoples have much in common.”

The Israel Dubai Conference is currently taking place in Dubai aimed at encouraging business relations between the two countries. The three-day event will see more than 100 people meet to discuss relations in the financial, technological, industry, agriculture, health, and tourism sectors.
“I hope this new era of cooperation will spread to all people and countries in the middle east - Thank you very much,” President Rivlin said at the end.
