Abdul Majeed al-Fahim, chairman of Dubai Pearl, a property investment consortium led by the Al-Fahim Group, called on Israelis to be pragmatic as they come to do business in the UAE. Speaking during Calcalist, Bank Leumi, and Reshet 13’s Israel-Dubai Conference, al-Fahim noted that "Israelis are good in what they know. They need to come with that and share it with the rest of us.”
Prior to leading Dubai Pearl, al-Fahim served as an Executive Director at the Private Office of H.H Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nehyan, and as a Chief Executive of Spectrum Limited LLC, as the Head of Projects and Direct Investment at the Abu Dhabi Investment Company, and as the Managing Director at Abu Dhabi National Foodstuff Company (Foodco Holding).
Al-Fahim's consortium developed the $2.4 billion Dubai Pearl mixed-use development in the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone, a project that was completed in December 2014.
"Come and be part of us and be present. Take advantage of the opportunities here," said al-Fahim. "Let’s take advantage of the situation and be closer to each other. You have no better situation than to do business with the UAE and to benefit from all this infrastructure that exists."
