Qualitest acquires Israel’s Comply, a pharma and digital health assurance specialist
The acquisition for an undisclosed sum comes only two months after Qualitest's acquisition of QA Infotech
Qualitest, an AI-powered, engineering-driven software and quality assurance company, has announced that it has acquired Comply, an Israeli quality assurance specialist specifically in Pharma and Digital Health. The deal will result in Qualitest absorbing 83 of Comply’s employees and will add Teva, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, GE Medical, and AbbVie to Qualitest’s list of clients. The acquisition's price tag was not disclosed.
“Qualitest is a global leader in testing, which is why it’s the perfect partner to help us take our testing services worldwide,” said Gai Anbar, Founder and CEO at Comply. “We have been impressed with Qualitest’s position as the go-to provider for software testing. By joining forces, we can capitalize on our own expertise in providing the highest quality assurance for health and pharma businesses,” he added.
Comply was founded in 2005 and provides quality assurance for web, cloud, and mobile applications relating to products dedicated to digital health. Specifically, it has focused on the validation of computerized systems such as enterprise IT and laboratory systems, as well as the validation of IT infrastructures like information security and disaster recovery plans.
Qualitest currently operates in a market that is growing at a 10% annual rate. The deal, which is expected to close this week, marks the second acquisition this year following its February purchase of QA Infotech. Qualitest itself was acquired by Bridgepoint in 2019.
