MedX Xelerator welcomes Dr. Lior Itzhaki as patent advisor

MEDX Xelerator, an incubator that focuses on medical devices and digital health, has appointed Dr. Lior Itzhaki as a patent advisor for its Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) program and portfolio companies. In this role, Dr. Itzhaki will work with R&D teams, build a patent portfolio, help with the company’s IP strategy, and supervise all the relevant prosecution stages.
Before joining MEDX Xelerator, Dr. Itzhaki served as the manager of Hutchison-Water’s technology fund, and before that, she served as a senior partner at an IP firm for 15 years. She holds a bachelor of science in chemistry and computer science and a Ph.D. in computational chemistry, both from Bar-Ilan University.

MEDX Xelerator was formed as part of an initiative of MEDX Ventures Group with Boston Scientific, Intellectual Ventures’ Invention Science Fund, and Sheba Medical Center. It is operating with the assistance of the Israel Innovation Authority.
