AI-powered quality engineering company Qualitest has announced the acquisition of telexiom GmbH, a Cologne-based specialist in IT consulting services. The price of the acquisition was not announced but this will be the company’s fourth in 2021 and will give it a strong foothold in Germany, Europe’s fastest-growing IT market.
“The leadership team at telexiom has done an amazing job at building the company,” said Anbu Muppidathi, Qualitest President and CEO. “We’re looking forward to making our customers’ businesses stronger. Qualitest and telexiom have a shared commitment to customers and employees. The union of our two companies accelerates the realization of Qualitest’s aspirations to become the trusted digital engineering service provider.”

The acquisition will extend Qualitest’s geographic footprint in the DACH market and provide expanded capabilities in digital engineering in cybersecurity. Telexiom will add its customer base, including Fortune 500 companies, and establish a prominent position in Europe. Qualitest will be adding 224 telexiom employees to its rank, as well as its leadership team.
This year alone, Qualitest has acquired India-based QA Infortech, Israel-based Comply, and U.S-based Olenick & Associates. Qualitest itself was purchased by Bridgepoint in 2019. Its most recent acquisition was founded in 2008 and offers a range of IT consulting services and solutions in areas of quality engineering, IT security, software development, and project management.
