“This year has been phenomenal at Akeyless,” shared co-founder and CEO of Akeyless, Oded Hareven standing on stage during his speech at KeyConf. “I’m sharing that because we’re excited about the traction we’ve seen and the number of customers that we’ve been able to establish relationships with.”
Speaking about the Akeyless Vault Platform, Hareven highlighted how 77% of its customers are mid-large-sized companies, and in total 78% of revenue is generated from publicly traded companies. “We are proud to be called a leading solution for Secrets Management,” he added to applause from the audience.

Akeyless was founded in 2018 and is a SaaS vault platform for Secrets Management, Zero-Trust Application Access, and Data Protection. In April of 2021 it was reported by CTech that the company had raised $14 million in a Series A round led by Team8 with participation from Jerusalem Venture Partners. Its ‘Secrets Orchestration Platform’ unifies several use cases into one solution.
Speaking before Hareven at KeyConf, Admiral Mike Rogers, Former NSA Director and Operating Partner at Team8 took to the stage to discuss the state of cybersecurity. “We find ourselves in an environment where the challenges of cybersecurity are only growing. As someone who used to penetrate networks as a living, the (metaphorical) house used to have three doors, now it has 100 for an unauthorized visitor.”
