Insight Partners: “We think the trend of Israeli tech is really positive”

“At Insight, we believe that software is a big opportunity and the markets are getting bigger and bigger, so we can see valuations being high for these rounds but also we see very highly valued IPOs and exits,” said Teddie Wardi, Managing Director at Insight Partners. The American VC firm typically invests in growth-stage technology software, and internet businesses and can already claim more than 10 investments directly related to Israeli-founded companies.

“As long as the exit market keeps climbing, the private market relations can be reasonable,” he continued. “It’s not to say there aren’t excesses in the original cases, but generally we think the trend of Israeli tech especially is really positive.”
