“One of the top security risks is organization friction”

“Definitely one of the top security risks is organization friction,” explained CEO and co-founder of Orca Security, Avi Shua. “What’s happening is that you have thousands of people, and each of them is working on different items. So if you’re applying processes to security environments it simply isn’t going to happen. There will be teams or individuals, or subsidiaries that simply will not implement the security tools, and this is exactly where attackers get in.”

According to Shua, this problem only gets bigger when employees work remotely. “In the remote world, it’s even harder because it’s hard to get people to collaborate and get people to work across departments. What we built is essentially a way to get rid of all that - and to give the security tools full and comprehensive security for their environments without relying on these organization processes.”
