“I always think about the internet and how it has disrupted or transformed industries over time in the last 20 years,” said Prashant Fuloria, CEO of Fundbox while speaking at Mind The Tech. “We started with industries that were mostly all digital, like communication with email, or information retrieval as in search, or even entertainment and media. But now over time, the internet and internet technology have really been transforming things like healthcare, logistics, hospitality, and financial services.”
Fuloria described Fundbox’s customers - small businesses - as “in this natural stage of evolution” where the internet and internet technologies are changing aspects of our lives, in no small part due to the pandemic. “Financial services are very important parts of our lives that are being transformed. We are just at the beginning. There is so much that has happened but there is so much more that is yet to come.”
