“We have 400,000 signatures on our petition, 1.6 million visitors to our website, 90 million impressions to our billboards,” said MeToo UNless UR a Jew Founder Danielle Ofek to CTech at Calcalist and Bank Leumi’s Mind the Tech conference in London. “I was at the House of Lords presenting our policy reports and recommendations to hold UN Women accountable and I believe that it will create a ripple effect.”
Ofek founded MeToo UNless UR a Jew, a grassroots global campaign, in response to the international community’s lack of reaction to the atrocities, including sexual violence, committed by Hamas against Israeli women on October 7.
“I'm a social and tech entrepreneur. I took aspects of the tech industry, from Startup Nation - working with KPIs and a clear strategy - and brought these elements to advocacy,” says Ofek.
“No one of us has the privilege not to do something. If you cannot write something, share something. If you can’t share, do something behind the scenes, but do something.”
