Perion: Donations, global campaigns, and employee volunteerism
With most of its management based in Israel, the digital advertising technology company embraces the local community and defense forces, contributing to the national effort through both donations and employee volunteer effort
The digital advertising technology company Perion (Nasdaq:PERI), a global company with a significant presence in Israel, contributes to the national effort through its employees volunteering for various initiatives and through company donations.
To offer a small sense of normalcy to the children of Sderot and Nirim, who were evacuated from their homes, Perion sent laptops and backpacks. For the security forces at the front, the company delivered hundreds of food products, essential supplies, and toiletries. This is in addition to financial donations made to the Association for Soldier's Welfare, ZAKA, as well as to the associations Perion supports on an ongoing basis, whose situation worsened due to the war. To support the ongoing efforts of civic organizations and help raise funds for their activity across the country, the company used its expertise to create digital campaigns in the US.
Perion’s employees also initiated visits and sweets delivery to the wounded in Sheba Hospital. Others participated in the "The Flower People" project, where volunteers weave bouquets and mourning wheels and transport them to funerals and commemoration services throughout the country.
"As a global company, Perion remains committed to advancing our business while simultaneously offering support to our employees, the local community, and the defense forces in Israel," says Tal Jacobson, CEO of Perion. "I am deeply impressed and proud to lead such a resilient and compassionate group of Perion employees, who exemplify a true spirit of volunteerism and dedication in aiding evacuated residents and supporting the security forces."
