Laurie Menoud on the Israeli Climate Awards
Founding Partner of At One Ventures Laurie Menoud spoke with CTech at the Israeli Climate Awards about untapped climate tech sectors

“Often when we talk about climate, it's always about buying an electric car, installing solar panels on your roof, so energy and transportation takes a lot of attention. We are actually looking at those untapped sectors like steel making, for example, which is responsible for 7% of carbon emissions,” said Laurie Menoud, Founding Partner of At One Ventures to CTech at the final round of the Israeli Climate Awards hosted by Calcalist and Doral on Wednesday.
“We’re looking at those industrial sectors and looking at how deep technologies can really reset those industries and help us produce what we need while giving back to the planet.”
Menoud was a judge at the Israeli Climate Awards, where five climate tech companies competed in the final round of the competition. The aim of the competition is to support new startups in the energy and climate sectors and find Israel's next big breakthrough in the fight against the climate crisis.
