Vayu raises $7 million Seed round to tackle revenue management in the AI era
The startup’s revenue automation platform tackles the growing complexity of hybrid pricing models.
As artificial intelligence and API-driven ecosystems reshape the software industry, pricing complexity has become a major obstacle for B2B companies. Traditional billing systems, designed for straightforward subscriptions, are failing to keep up with hybrid pricing models that blend usage-based, tiered, and outcome-driven approaches. Now, Vayu, a startup specializing in revenue management software, has secured $7 million in Seed funding to address this challenge.
The round was co-led by Flint Capital and The Garage, with participation from Fresh.Fund, Secretchord.vc, and angel investors, including former executives from Melio and SoftBank. The funding will be used to accelerate Vayu’s platform development and expand its global reach.
A Changing Landscape in B2B Pricing
B2B pricing structures have undergone a fundamental shift. According to Gartner, by 2027, 75% of application providers will transition to API-based pricing models, up from just 25% today. Yet, for many companies, revenue management remains a critical bottleneck, slowing growth and increasing operational inefficiencies.
Vayu’s solution is built to address this gap. Its proprietary data metering technology processes tens of millions of events daily, converting raw data into precise, real-time billing rules. Unlike traditional usage-based pricing, which often lacks flexibility and granularity, Vayu enables hyper-dynamic pricing, allowing businesses to adjust billing in real time based on unlimited variables—usage patterns, contractual terms, and even customer outcomes.
Founded by fintech and data veterans Erez Agmon, Shenhav Avidar, and Shai Gross, who have backgrounds at PayPal, Melio, and WSC Sports, Vayu’s platform provides finance teams with full control over revenue processes—without relying on engineering resources.
“Pricing in today’s GenAI-driven economy must go beyond just consumption or tiers—it must reflect relationships and outcomes,” said Erez Agmon, CEO of Vayu. “Finance teams need the ability to experiment with new pricing models, iterate quickly, and eliminate manual inefficiencies.”
The company already serves a growing roster of clients, including Au10tix, Mesh Payments, and Vi.
