ICI Fund appoints Yaron Wolfsthal as Partner

U.S.-based VC firm ICI Fund has announced it has appointed Yaron Wolfsthal as Partner. Wolfsthal joins the firm from IBM after recently retiring and brings with him 35 years of technology experience.

Wolfsthal founded and ran IBM’s Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Israel, and concurrently served as IBM Ventures’ delegate and the liaison for IBM’s M&A and partnerships in Israel.

ICI Fund has offices in Colorado, California, and Israel, and Wolfsthal joins the team including Elkin, Tim Jones, Adam Button, and Ari Goldfarb. ICI Fund II has invested in 10 companies, five in 2024 alone, and plans to invest in at least two more by the end of the year.
