The Kiryat Atidim-Connect complex will cover a 780 square meter area and will be located near the CityZone program, which is home to over 20 startups that are developing smart-city solutions
The Tel Aviv Municipality and Tel Aviv University - which are both equal shareholders of the Kiryat Atidim Park in Tel Aviv - are expected to open a joint workspace at the park, Calcalist has learned. The new complex will be located in the Ramat Hahayal neighborhood, and will be near the CityZone program, which is home to over 20 startups that are developing smart-city solutions. The complex will be located on the fourth floor of one of the complex’s two low-rise buildings, covering a total area of 780 square meters.
Currently, the Atidim Park does not possess a coworking complex, and office space is scarce in central Tel Aviv. The group estimates that entrepreneurs and professionals at high tech companies who no longer wish to pay the high prices of central Tel Aviv will be interested in occupying the offices. In addition, there is a rising trend of high tech companies leasing work spaces closer to the residence of their employees.
The new Atidim-Connect complex will offer an expansive work space, which is larger than the typical 10-12 meters per employee, out of concern for the ongoing coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic restraints and the need to maintain social distancing. Complex residences will benefit from leasing flexibility and a steady rent price of NIS 2,200 ($645) per month per space. The Kiryat Atidim Park is located on Dvora Hanevi'a Street, and stretches across 19 acres, including 11 buildings, each totaling 250,000 square meters. It houses 100 different companies from various tech fields, including life sciences and fintech.
