ForSight Robotics appoints Sharon Levita as CFO
Levita will be joining from Medtronic, where she served as Business Development and Strategy Leader at the company’s Cranial and Spinal Technologies operating unit
ForSight Robotics, which develops robotic eye surgery solutions, has announced the appointment of Sharon Levita as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective September 1, 2023. Levita will lead ForSight Robotics’ strategic and financial operations, focusing on driving business strategies, expanding strategic partnerships, and managing financial and growth objectives.
Levita brings over 20 years of industry experience working with private and publicly-listed companies. Most recently, Levita served as Medtronic’s Business Development and Strategy Leader at the company’s Cranial and Spinal Technologies operating unit, and as VP of Business Operations and Medtronic Site Lead (formerly robotic spine surgery company Mazor Robotics) in Israel. Prior to this, Levita served as CFO and VP of Business Operations at Mazor Robotics for over a decade and led the company’s $1.6 billion acquisition by Medtronic in 2018. Her previous experience includes various leadership roles at medical laser company Lumenis and at KPMG Hungary.

In the past year, ForSight Robotics raised a $55 million Series A funding round, doubled in size to 50 employees, and expanded its leadership team with the appointments of Dr. Yaron Levinson as Head of Product and Ran Mendelewicz as Head of Robotics.
